School Projects (the archive)

This is a music video I made featuring one of my favorite songs from the movie, "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", translated in English to, "You only live once".  The song Khaboon ke Parindey uses birds as a metaphor for dreams. I spent a lot of time and energy on this music video and I am really proud of the amount of effort I put in.  Artisically, this is one of my strongest videos. I had a lot of fun making this video and gained a lot of confidence in editing and my ability to get what I want to get done, done. I filmed this with a lot of my friends and in some cool locations like Balboa park. Sharing this multicultural song with my friends took me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to share my heritage with them, which led to a lot of growth.  Overall, this project was invigorating, and a great midterm project. 

This is my PSA about reading. I think my idea and concept for this video was cool, and the video is solid but I could have spent a lot more time and energy on this project. I wish I would have used more complex shots and angles, but overall I think I did a decent job and I liked my topic. 

This is a how to video I created to show people how to create stop motion videos. I used voiceover, stop-motion and a script to create this film. I had fun creatively drawing moving posters, and building cool scenes with play doh as I filmed this project.

This is a short montage I made to depict the repetition and variation of quarantine during the Corona Virus. It represents how the time in quarantine has just blurred over, but not necessarily in a bad way.
